Excelify – Magento to Shopify Order export with PhpMyAdmin

If you’ve had to migrate a Magento 1 site to Shopify you may have come across Excelify as an option.

It’s the option I took recently, even though it was a Shopify Plus site and we therefore had access to the Transporter App I had a bitch of a time trying to install the transporter ruby gem onto the dev server the Magento site was on so I just installed Excelify.

It’s good, it saved a ton of hassle. It also has good documentation and the help on the live chat is instant and spot on. No wonder it has the full 5 stars in the app store.

Explains the process, it does ask you to install some database management software called Beaver to manage the database dump though. I wasn’t about to do that, I just did it from PhpMyAdmin, however the settings need tweaked from the default export, I’ve screenied it and included below, hopefully it’ll help you;
